The opening hole gives you a great chance to start your round off with a good score. The hole plays downhill all the way to the green. The green is sloped sharply from back to front and slightly left. Mature trees guard both the left and right side of the narrow landing area making a fairway metal or hybrid off the tee a strong consideration. (A pond is being built on the left hand side of the fairway starting in 2011)

This hole doglegs to the left with mature hardwoods guarding the left hand side of the fairway and a sixty year old Weeping Willow stands guard on the right side. Much like the first hole a fairway metal or hybrid off the tee will set you up nicely for a wedge into the green. The green mainly slopes at you and to the left.

This is a great risk reward par five. The long hitter will need to decide how far right he wants to aim to cut off the dogleg. The reward for a good guess will lead to a great chance at getting home in two. A poor guess or execution could lead to an unplayable lie under a pine tree. The conservative play is down the middle with a fade still leaving a great chance to go for the green in two. A bunker guards the left hand side of the green and out-of-bounds runs down the whole right side of the fairway.

This is a fun par three that plays over water on the right. Your biggest consideration here is choosing the correct club because a shot that goes over the green leads to a tough pitch to a green that runs away from you. Not enough club or a shot just left or right can easily find an overhanging tree.

The tees on number 5 have been moved back thirty five yards making this uphill par four a little more challenging. The hole looks to be a dogleg right when you are on the tee but it is actually dead straight. Your aim should be slightly to the left side allowing the hill to kick your ball to the center of the fairway. Your second shot plays very uphill so take one extra club if the pin is anywhere except the front of the green. Oh yea, if the pin is on the front of the green take care to stay short of it.

This is a hole that can be driven especially when it is playing downwind. However, it is much easier to play a pitch shot onto this green from the fairway because the green is humped in the middle and doesn't hold a shot played from the rough. If the pin is on the back of the green you may want to consider hitting your approach past the hole leaving you an uphill putt or even a chip.

The seventh gives you the choice of 2 fairways. The long hitter usually takes the right fairway because if he lands his ball far enough it will hit the down slope and roll out to inside 100 yards. The downside of the right fairway is if you don't hit it far enough your second will be played on an uneven lie. Those that take the left fairway and find it will be rewarded with a level lie. Your second shot will play uphill to a huge green. This hole is surrounded by woods on both sides of both fairways but if you find the fairway you will have a great chance to make par.

This is by far the hardest of the par 3's to hit. It plays a club short because it is downhill but three very tall trees guard the right hand side of the green. The green slopes sharply to the left and the putting surface edges all run away from you.

Here you have an uphill dog leg right par five. You will want to stay left with your drive allowing a clear second shot that plays uphill. A solidly struck second shot will leave you with a short iron to the green. This hole gives you a great chance to finish off your front nine well.

Hole ten is a challenging way to start the back nine. This dog leg left requires a good tee shot onto a fairway which slopes right to left. From there the ball will likely be above your feet as you hit your approach shot down hill to a tricky green that slopes back to front and left to right.

Hole eleven is a straight away par 4 that presents an uphill tee shot to a narrowing fairway. The hole then levels off for an approach shot onto a green guarded by a tree on the left and a group of trees on the right. With the green dramatically sloping from back to front, missing long you will leave you with a very difficult up-and-in for par.

While this is the shortest par three on the course it has the most obstacles standing in the way of you and a birdie putt. The green which slopes right to left is guarded by a large bunker on the right and trees that overhang the left side. If you can avoid missing short and offline, you will be in great shape to make par.

Hole thirteen is a relatively long and straight par 5 that only can be reached in two by the longer hitters. The hole requires an accurate tee shot down the left side of the fairway which curves slightly left over the hill. From the top of the hill you will be faced with a second shot that has little room for error with trouble on the left and a line of thick pine trees on the right. The green slopes back to front and is vulnerable to a good approach and score.

Hole fourteen kicks off back-to-back dog leg left par fours. Big hitters can take it right over the bunker that guards the left side of the fairway, but most will have to stay right of this hazard. Thick trees line the hole down the left side so your best bet is to keep the ball right both off the tee and with the approach shot. The green slopes back to front and missing long with your second shot will mean a trough pitch and putt for par.

Like the previous hole you are faced with a fairway bunker and trees down the left side. Big hitters can clear the bunker with a good tee shot but just like the last hole it is important to keep the ball right off the tee. The second shot is to an elevated green that slopes severely back to front. An approach missed long will most likely mean a bogey here where it is tough to stop any ball that is above the cup.

Sixteen is a very scenic downhill par 3 played to a green that is not guarded by trees or bunkers. This hole should give you a great chance for a par.

Hole seventeen is a great opportunity to make up a stroke with a birdie. It presents an uphill tee shot that needs to be placed well to avoid the trees on both sides of the fairway and out-of-bounds on the left. Big hitters can get home in two on this straight away par 5 that actually has a bail-out area short right of the green but most will play it as a three shot hole. The green on seventeen slopes right to left and back to front.

This finishing hole hosts one of the toughest fairways to hit as it gradually narrows towards the green. A tee shot down the right hand side is best because the fairway slightly bends right and balls hit down the left side often end up in the rough. If you can keep your ball in play you have a good chance to hit it on the green that slopes back to front and finish up your round with a good score.
